Kindercolors Inc.
was founded in Seattle, Washington by Leslie James who as a parent of a Special Needs Child discovered that there was a need in Washington State to provide more resources, services, and support for children with Autism and learning disabilities. We primarily serve the North Seattle, Shoreline, Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace, Lynnwood, South Everett, Mill Creek, Bothell, and Kenmore areas.

My educational training includes a B.A. in Art from Seattle Pacific University as well as over 20 years of work experience in training work personnel including Boeing Managers and Boeing personnel in utilizing various pc and mainframe applications.

Currently I am pursuing a Masters in Special Education. My Art for Autism Program encompasses not only art but also utilizes the basic principles from autism intervention therapies as play therapy, floortime, and creative arts therapy.

My experience and passion for working with Autistic children also comes from being a parent of a special needs child. From the parents aspect, I fully understand the daily challenges, frustrations, and struggles a parent faces in raising a special needs child.
